This lady has been a favorite musician of mine for a number of years.  She can play that piano, make the sax wail, and sing; sweet, spicy and smoky.  This cd doesn’t have a high blues content, which is my review ‘specialty’, but I thought I’d let my thoughts be known on this cd.

 

This cd opens with a real cool tune, Real Time.  Nicely written song with a good tempo.  Are You Lonely For Me Baby is a funky thang, with a cool guitar lead. Blues In The ‘Bine is a stellar jazz sax number.  I really enjoyed the ‘nice weather’ tune’s story line.  This cd covers a range of music from blues, jazz, ballads and even some county influences.
