| On Saturday, March 12, 2005 the public radio station WGLT 89.1 FM hosted a party for Frank "The Delta Doctor" Black who has been bringing blues to Illinois through WGLT for 20 years. | ||
| The Lafayette Club in Bloomington, Illinois was the place and it was packed with fans. Those in attendance were treated to a barbeque dinner, a commemorative t-shirt, and a special bottle of Frank's "Lickskillet Hot Sauce." | ||
| Fans of the Delta Doctor were also treated to music from three bands -- Barb Hamilton, Fishbone Willie & Friends, and Rooster Alley. | ||
| All in all it was a great night honoring a living blues legend. | ||
