Whether you sit down in your lawn chair and enjoy the sounds or stroll around the lake and hear from a distance its all good. The blues festival has grown from a single day event to a two day 5000 plus attendee extravaganza. This is where some of the biggest names in blues come to play. It’s summertime and the livin is easy, especially at the Nothin’ but the Blues festival.  It’s parents and kids, it’s blues fans from all over the country kicking back and having a good time. Saturday is always a good day for the whole family cause of the numerous things we have for the children of our blues lovers. Come early cause those activities end at 5:00pm.

Budweiser Illinois Blues Festival -  Set in The beautiful Riverfront of Peoria, Illinois, Great Blues entertainment and three entertainment stages. Considered one of the top blues festivals,  Budweiser Blues Festival features two days of internationally known Blues artists and is produced by Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment, www.jaytv.com, with proceeds going to the Illinois Blues Coalition.
The Illinois Blues Coalition supports Blues Societies, Blues Music Entertainers and Blues Music Education by offering grants and scholarships to help fund projects which preserve and promote the history and future of blues music. A popular addition to our festival is the “Blues Lessons” featuring musician workshops and history of the blues educational seminars. Peoria has a long tradition and has always been a major influence in blues music. It began with the days when the blues masters would travel from Chicago, sown the Illinois River to St. Louis, and then on to New Orleans. Peoria was, and still is, the place to stop! Even the blues men and women knew the famous cliché, “Will It Play In Peoria?”
Mississippi Valley Blues Festival - For twenty-five years, volunteers of the Mississippi Valley Blues Society have been organizing and presenting the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival. The three-day festival is held each year over the 4th of July weekend in picturesque LeClaire Park on the banks of the Mississippi River in Davenport, Iowa. After flooding conditions last year forced the Festival to be relocated to the streets of Downtown Davenport, the festival will return to LeClaire Park this year for the 25th Anniversary edition of the IH Mississippi Valley Blues Festival.  Through the care and attention paid in selecting performers to represent a variety of blues styles and the down-home non-commercial atmosphere of the fest, over the years the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival has become recognized as one of the finest blues fests in the country.
